Governance

ANZLAH advises on governance using the same constitutional framework it holds itself to internally.

Overview

Governance advisory is ANZLAH's foundational capability — every other capability domain, from AI deployment to disaster risk management, is built on governance discipline rather than sitting alongside it. This page describes governance as a standalone advisory offering; in practice it is inseparable from how every engagement is structured.

Purpose

To help institutions establish governance structures that are actually load-bearing — decision rights, accountability lines, and documented rationale that hold under real operating pressure, not governance frameworks that exist only as policy documents.

Strategic Context

Institutions frequently have governance documentation that does not reflect how decisions are actually made. The gap between documented governance and operating reality is where accountability breaks down, particularly during crises, transitions, or rapid growth.

Institutional Perspective

ANZLAH's own operating model — a constitutional governance framework applied to every architectural, security, and deployment decision, including its own AI capability — is the basis for its governance advisory. This is not a theoretical framework being sold to clients; it is the same discipline used internally, described in the Enterprise Methodology reference.
